In 2011, 19 year old Autumn Braden, from Michigan was babysitting her 2 year old cousin. She got so fed up with her cousin’s bad behaviour that she decided to list him on eBay for 1000 dollars. In 2013, Frederick Mitchell, from Cincinnati was babysitting 6 month old Elliot Megrditchian. After the baby wouldn’t stop crying, Frederick decided to throw the 6 month old against a wall. The baby was then taken to hospital but later died after suffering severe skull fractures and other injuries. In 2014, 57 year old woman, Martha Dreher from Texas had been babysitting for the Williams family for several months. One night, Martha got so annoyed with the girls that she set fire to their house.In 2012, this Illinoise mother stabbed her 7 year old son 100 times. The 40 year old woman told authorities that she wanted to get back at her husband as she though he “wasn’t treating her right”. After killing her own son, she turned the knife on a five year old girl she routinely baby sat, stabbing her 50 times, because she was a witness to the first murder. In 2015, a 31-year-old baby sitter from Alabama carelessly left out a grape soda laced with methadone. When she wasn’t paying attention, 2-year-old Demonie Hendon picked it up and drank it. She was rushed to hospital and put on life support, but because of the harmful chemicals in the drug, she didn’t make it. In 2011, a mother by the name of Tarah Souders made the choice to move her 3 young girls and herself to a run down trailer park to assist her dying father. In that trailer park lived Michael Plumadore, a 39 year old sex offender who had a warrant for arrest for 11 years. One night, she returned home to realise her 9 year old daughter, Aliahna was gone. Tarah had asked Michael Plumadore to, a convicted sex offender. It was revealed that he had killed Aliahna with a brick. On the 25th of April, 2015, Keyerra Rolsal was babysitting 16 month old Ashtin Spencer. At 1 AM, Ashley Spencer returned to Keyerra’s house to pick up Ashtin. However no one answered the door. Ashley then called a police officer to help her bust down the door. When they entered she was shocked to realised that Keyerra was gone and Ashtin was nowhere to be found in the living room, kitchen or bedroom. The police officer then found Ashtin alone in a bathtub. Keyerra had left him there for 4 hours while she was out. In 2009, 2 year old Demi-Leigh Mahon was being babysat by 15 year old Karl McCluney. When the toddler started crying, Karl flew into rage and kicked punched and bit Demi-Leigh. She was taken to hospital with 68 injuries and died two days later from catastrophic brain damage. In 2011, avid marathon runner Raymond Dascott was running the Munroe County marathon in Florida. However, Raymond was also supposed to be babysitting that day. Rather than doing the logical thing of picking one or the other, he decided to run the marathon with a 1 year old in a stroller. During the marathon, Raymond collapsed from tiredness, leaving 1 year old unattended in a stroller. In 1973, David McGreavy was babysitting 3 children in England. He was lodging with the family and offered to babysit for the mother when she was out. He then proceeded to murder the 3 children and dismember their bodies.
